Another "War on Terror" in East Africa that may not be won.

Over the last weekend, Nairobi announced they have revoked article 51 of the United Nations and sent its troops across the border deep into Somalia to attack Al-Shabaab militants over what they termed 'a search for kidnapped tourists and aid workers'. Honestly, there have been a number of kidnappings along the Kenya/Somali border in the recent past but it is not clear whether Al-Shabaab is involved. This came only days after Washington announced it will send 100 armed troops to Uganda to help fight LRA rebels. The question is whether these two wars will be won and what will be the consequences of the wars?
