- The Feather Project is a web 2.0 multi-media platform that was launched in June 2010 at the Peace Palace, in The Hague, Netherlands. The Feather Project was founded by Award-Winning Humanitarian and Earth Charter Commissioner Rabbi Awraham Soetendorp and Native American Chief Oren Lyons. In the words of Lyons, "if we don't change our values, we are not going to make it—period."
This past fall, The Feather Project toured through India and met with Tibetan and Hindu moral and spiritual leaders including His Holiness the XVIIth Karmapa, who escaped from Tibet when he was 15 and is now 25 and considered the natural successor to H.H. Dalai Lama; 94 year-old Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University Dadi Janki, and Sri Maheshwarananda, considered "one of the most outstanding spiritual masters of all time who has dedicated his entire life to the service of all creatures."
