my story so far: Fiction is my first love, weird stories that question reality. I feel in love with the writing of Philip K Dick and William Gibson among others in my teens. I specialised in critical theory at college, where I started to relate the vision of these authors to radical ideas of Marx and Derrida amongst others. I have worked in fundraising for charities including Amnesty International and Friends of the Earth because I wanted to add positively to the world, but I've found less direct routes can prove more effective. I spent five years actively working to imrpove literacy and engagement with reading in the city of Leicester, one of the UKs most deprived urban areas, where I learnt much about the gritty realities that both make and prevent good things from happening. Now I define myself primarily as a writer, but writing is the solid evidence of thought. Design, social media, project management, fundraising and leadership are also part of my toolkit.

ask me 'why global tolerance?' and I will answer: It has piqued my interest.

the one thing I would change in the world is...: The negative impact of a very small elite upon the proper functioning of society. But it's not an easy problem to crack!

I'm passionate about...: Creating ideas that come pre-packaged with the necessary processes to become realities.
