Due to the media's frequent portrayal of intolerance and the way it is encouraged in society by journalists, both subtly and unsubtly, I believe that we must achieve tolerance by harnessing the power of the media through facilitated engagement, innovative programmes and campaigns to bring people together and encourage dialogue.
