I am tole-ranting about... apathy, activism and the X Factor.

This year's X Factor has not even reached the final rounds but already the judges' decisions are making headlines. Less than 48 hours after Zimbabwean teenager Gamu Nhengu was axed from the show by Cheryl Cole, almost 150,000 people have joined a Facebook protest in to register their disappointment at the decision. As I write this, the word 'Gamu' is trending on Twitter.
